December's WEbook Challenge - The Winners!

Christmas brought with it a plethora of festivities to WEbook, including, of course, the December challenge. We lucky judges were able to stave off those January blues and extend the holiday for a few more days reading all of the brilliant entries and we were, as always, very impressed with what we found.

After much deliberation, we are very pleased to award the accolade of winner to...

We felt that this story truly captured the spirit of Christmas with superb atmospheric descriptions that evoke the magic and history of the time of year. It is a well-told, heartwarming tale that just has that 'fireside telling' feel to it.

It was not, however, without its competition and this month's runners-up are:

A Gift Unto The World by KyleRKopp
The Escape Claus by KimberleyReeves
And the Angel said..."Hiya!" by AlinaVoyce
A Silent Night by JRBeck
A Town of a Thousand Names by Aftab

Congratulations to our winner and runners-up and huge thanks to all who took part!

All of last month's entries are still available to read in the Projects section of and, if you haven't read them yet, be prepared for some unusual but highly entertaining tales from the extraordinary imaginations of the WEbook community.

Now Christmas is over, it's time to look forward to the New Year. We're excited about all the things WEbook can offer in 2014 and it all starts with our January New Year Challenge

This month, as always, we're looking for your best stories - this time on the theme of 'being reborn' - but we're also after your best rating and feedback skills. Have fun and good luck!
